How to express your love to the one you love

Narrator:

Three boys, Richard, Edward and Anthony are drinking coffee in a coffee shop. Richard is a hopeless fool in love. It is around Valentine’s Day. Richard does not want to spend his Valentine’s Day alone. He wants to confess his love to the girl he secretly admiring. So, he asks for his friends’ help.

Shi Yee sighs.

Cheng Yi: Why are you sighing?

Shi Yee sighs.

Wei Seen: Why are you sighing again?

Shi Yee sighs.

Cheng Yi and Wei Seen: Why are you sighing again and again?

Shi Yee: (singing) A pretty girl, her charming smile, a hole inside my heart, I’m all alone, the rooms are getting smaller. I’ve lost my heart, I’ve lost my brain, I wonder where they are, until she came, I get all my organs back. Oh yeah.

Cheng Yi: Hmm…Seems that you are secretly admiring someone, but you dare not confess to her.

Wei Seen: Is that true? Who is that unlucky girl?

Shi Yee: Anthony, she is my first love, can you be more encouraging? (intoxicated in the imagination)She is the girl of my dreams, and she is just plain beautiful, every words she says took my breathe away.

Wei Seen: (confidence) I bet all my fortune, Richard is in love with Claire, right?

Shi Yee: Yup…That’s her. (imaging) The girl who has long, black hair, mesmerizing eyes, sweet smile, white teeth and fair skin that made her a rare beauty. You know, many had said, that God had worked overtime on her, making her one of his masterpieces. She is also kind-hearted, helpful, intelligent…

Wei Seen: Stop! We already knew how good she is, ok? The main point is, have you told her these?

Cheng Yi: Don’t ask stupid questions! He won’t sing that song if he already confessed to her.

Shi Yee: (heart throbbed) You are right, Edward.

Wei Seen: Don’t pull a long face, brother. Let me help you.

Shi Yee: How can you help my pitiful soul?

Wei Seen: (with a loud and clear voice) I am a love expert!

Cheng Yi: You don’t even have a girlfriend!

Wei Seen: I don’t have girlfriend, but I have a lot of admirers.

Cheng Yi: Stop boasting yourself!

Shi Yee: Stop! I am R.I.D.

Wei Seen: You want me to get rid of you?

Shi Yee: No. R.I.D is Richard Is Dying.

Cheng Yi: Don’t worry, Richard. We will help you.

Wei Seen: I got an idea. Just tell her straightforward that you like her so much. Confess your love out loud in front of her.

Cheng Yi: You can also do it in front of the people to show her that you are seriously confessing your love to her.

Shi Yee: But, it is embarrassing! I will stammer in the presence of strangers.

Wei Seen: If you don’t want to spend your Valentine’s Day alone, just do it!

Shi Yee turns to Ming Thing.

Ming Thing: (arrogant and impatience) Today is such a hot day. What do you want to tell me? Don’t waste my time. Time is precious.

Shi Yee: (anxious, twisting the fingers) I…I want to declare my love to you in front of these people.

Ming Thing: (delighted) Really? You are willing to do that for me?

Shi Yee turns to face all of the classmates.

Shi Yee: (inhale) (close the eyes) Cheng Yi, I Love You!

Shi Yee: (scratches her head) Oops… That was in the first part, right? Sorry, sorry.

Ming Thing: (angry and stomped off) Idiot! How come it ended up with another girl’s name?

Shi Yee: Claire! Give me one more chance. This time, I will say your name correctly.

Wei Seen: Operation Happily Ever After failed.

Shi Yee: What am I suppose to do? She is angry, furious, frustrated now. What if she doesn’t want to talk to me anymore? What if she…

Cheng Yi: Richard, calm down. How about attacking her with flowers?

Shi Yee: Pardon?

Wei Seen: What Edward mean is attack her with flowers. Girls always have soft spot for flowers. What kind of flower does Claire like?

Shi Yee: (a professional tone) According to my investigation, she likes roses from America, cherry blossoms from Japan, carnations from Cameron Highlands, orchids from Singapore and…

Wei Seen: Haha…Quite a special girl. Can’t she like something that sells in the flower shop? Still, I have prepared it for you. (Take out a bouquet of flower)

Shi Yee: Wow! Thanks buddy!

Wei Seen and Cheng Yi: Do not mess it up again!

Shi Yee: Sure. Just attack her with flowers, right?

Shi Yee turns to Ming Thing and shows her the flowers.

Ming Thing: (high-pitched) Such a fabulous flowers. I love it. Is it for me?

Shi Yee: Yes, you are the only one to be qualified to own the flowers. Will you accept my heart? My sincerity? (singing) I can show you the world. Shining, shimmering, splendid. (Throwing the flowers one by one to Ming Thing) Tell me, princess, now when did you last let your heart decide?

Ming Thing: (like a bursting volcano) Stop that! You are such a nuisance! How can you throw the flowers to me? You are ruining my image!

Ming Thing slaps Shi Yee.

Shi Yee: She touches my face! So sweet…

Cheng Yi and Wei Seen: Hopeless.

Conversation continues.

Shi Yee: How come the method you taught me does not work at all?

Cheng Yi: What I mean about attacking her with flowers is referring to her heart, not her body!

Wei Seen: (bends her arm round Shi Yee’s shoulder) Ok, I will tell you my secret weapon.

Shi Yee, Cheng Yi and Wei Seen discuss together.

Shi Yee: What? So old-fashioned? Nowadays, we got msn, sms, hotmail, facebook and lots of high technology stuff, you want me to do that?

Cheng Yi and Wei Seen: It does work, you know.

Shi Yee: Will she hit me again? It really hurts.

Shi Yee holds a letter.

Shi Yee: (with a nervous expression) Claire, I have something for you.

Ming Thing: (felt disgusted) You again?

Shi Yee reads the letter.

Shi Yee: To my love, Claire. You are my oxygen, I can’t live without you. To give you a better life, I will work hard to achieve 5M. I will earn a lot of money, become a manager, buy a mansion, a Mercedes and at last me, myself to you. And, your beauty shall not fade. Because I will buy a lot of makeup and skin-care products for you.

Ming Thing: (touched) Oh! You wrote that yourself?

Shi Yee looks at Cheng Yi and Wei Seen. Both of them nod.

Shi Yee: Yes, of course.

Ming Thing: I am happy! What you wrote touches my heart deeply. Thank you, Richard.

Shi Yee: Will you become my girlfriend?

Ming Thing: (shy) Yes, I will. (stern tone) But make sure you keep your promises!

Shi Yee and Ming Thing dance.

Cheng Yi: Finally, happily ever after.

Wei Seen: Finally, the hopeless fool found his true love. Oh my god! I got to go now. My admirers A, B, C are waiting for me.

Dialogue...Silly?

This is the script for our oral test. Someone may feel this is a silly dialogue but this is the fruit of our labour...

How to choose which boyfriend to dump

Narrator:

One sunny day, two girls are chatting under a big tree. One of them looks troubled as she has a relationship problem.

Cheng Yi sighs.

Ming Thing: Why are you sighing?

Cheng Yi sighs again.

Ming Thing: Why are you sighing again?

Cheng Yi sighs again.

Ming Thing: Why are you sighing again and again? Hmm…Let me guess. You must been worrying about spending Valentine’s Day alone, right? “Hakuna Matata”, don’t worry, we are in the same boat.

Cheng Yi: Stop making wild guesses!

Ming Thing: So what is the reason causing you to sigh again and again?

Cheng Yi: I have two boyfriends. Both of them treat me very good. It is difficult to choose between both of them. Most important is, both of them are good looking and RICH!!

Cheng Yi sighs.

Cheng Yi: Why am I so unlucky to have to choose between both of them?

Ming Thing: Huh? Do you know that…YOU ARE LUCKY! I am still single, can you give me one?

Cheng Yi: Sure. But I don’t know how to choose.

Ming Thing: So easy. Let me teach you. First, use the easiest method, even a child knows how to do it.

Ming Thing gives signal to Cheng Yi.

Cheng Yi: Oh!

Cheng Yi turns to face Shi Yee and Wei Seen with a serious face.

Cheng Yi: (with a cruel and evil tone) I want two of you to have a battle. The winner will be my boyfriend.

Shi Yee and Wei Seen face each other with a boxer pose.

Shi Yee: Come on, fight like a man, shortee!

Wei Seen: Don’t belittle me! Let’s see what you’ve got!

Shi Yee and Wei Seen: Scissors, paper, stone!

Shi Yee and Wei Seen keep drawing. No winner in this game.

Cheng Yi sighs. She continues her conversation with Ming Thing. Shi Yee and Wei Seen freeze.

Cheng Yi: It does not work at all! By the way, I can’t decide my boyfriend with scissors, paper, stone! The winner may not a guarantee to reach my target.

Ming Thing: Target?

Cheng Yi: Yup. (ambitious tone) My target is to become the richest woman in the world. To achieve the goal, I need to marry a rich husband. (evil tone) I will control his money and expenses. If he makes me angry, I will cut his allowance, make him work double or triple shift…

Ming Thing: I wondered who that unlucky guy is.

Cheng Yi: (so intoxicated in her fantasies) Pardon?

Ming Thing: Nothing. Just helping you to think another way out.

Ming Thing thinks. She screams as she thinks another idea.

Ming Thing: Let both of them sing a love song to you. Love song is a way to express your love in a more touching and rhythmic way. Like the one we always watch in drama and film.

Cheng Yi: Is there any relation?

Ming Thing: Of course! You see, the one who touches your heart with his singing indicates he is the one who loves you most. He will be a devoted husband.

Cheng Yi turns to face Shi Yee and Wei Seen. Shi Yee and Wei Seen unfreeze.

Cheng Yi: Can you sing a love song to me?

Shi Yee: Of course. I sing first.

Wei Seen: You are a terrible singer! Don’t make people uncomfortable with your unbearable voice!

Shi Yee: You are no better than me anyway!

Wei Seen: At least I’ve been to singing classes.

Wei Seen stands with a tenor pose.

Wei Seen: (reciting a poem) Nothing’s gonna change my love for you, you oughta know by now how much I Love You…

Shi Yee burst into laughter.

Shi Yee: You are wasting your money attending the singing classes! That is what you called singing? That is reciting! Watch me. I will sing a hundred thousand times better than you.

Shi Yee clears throat.

Shi Yee: (singing out of tune) Everyday, of our lives, wanna find you there, wanna hold on tight.

Cheng Yi: Stop.

Cheng Yi continues her conversation. Shi Yee and Wei Seen freeze.

Cheng Yi: No use. Both of them sing well.

Ming Thing: Huh? That is “well”? I thought it is fantastic! Amazing! Ok, I will think of another way. Don’t give up. Where there is a will, there is a way.

Ming Thing thinks hard. When she screams as she thinks another way, Cheng Yi shocks and backs off. When Cheng Yi turns back, the conversation continues.

Ming Thing: I am using my last resort. Ask them what they will give you if you marry one of them. The one with the answer who satisfies you the most will be your boyfriend.

Cheng Yi: What if I’m dissatisfied with their answer?

Ming Thing: Find a new one.

Cheng Yi: Ok!

Cheng Yi turns to face Shi Yee and Wei Seen.

Cheng Yi: What will you give me if I marry one of you?

Shi Yee: (with confidence) Every month, I will give you RM1.0…

Cheng Yi: What? One ringgit only? How dare you!

Wei Seen: Oh my god! Such a miser you are.

Shi Yee: I am not finished yet. RM1.0 10⁵

Cheng Yi: (choking) That much?? Hmm…How about you? (turns to Wei Seen)

Wei Seen: (In a flamboyant style) I will give you my whole life. I will use the time in my whole life to prove to you how much I love you. You can’t find another person who loves you as much as me. My heart can accommodate no other apart from you and I know this it is going to be for the rest of my life.

Cheng Yi: (delighted) Really?

Wei Seen: Yes, my love. (blew a kiss) (reciting poem again) Fate had intertwined us together.

Cheng Yi thinks such a long time.

Ming Thing: Time to decide.

Shi Yee looks disappointed while Wei Seen is full of confidence.

Cheng Yi: I choose you. (turns to Shi Yee)

Wei Seen: (shock) What? But…I am better than him!

Shi Yee: Hahaha…

Shi Yee and Cheng Yi go together with their hands hold.

Ming Thing: Such a poor guy. He will be despair after knowing her plan to become the richest woman in the world.

Ming Thing turns to Wei Seen.

Ming Thing: (bends her arm round Wei Seen’s shoulder) I am still single. You have been dump. How about becoming my boyfriend? I will treat you well.

Wei Seen changes from dismay to happy.

Ming Thing and Wei Seen go out from the scene.

Hello guys! Yes yes, everyone Happy New Year! In this new year I wish everyone will get straight A's in SPM!(I know you want it)
Before new year, my crazy school an event which did appear on a newspaper and 9TV news. They had the rehearsal on Monday and the real thing on Wednesday or Thursday.(Bad memory,I can't remember when)


My school had a put a big tent and all of us sat under tents(It still got hot later) There was our very own school's lion dance, a Malay dance, a Chinese fan dance, lots of speeches by the V.I.P.'s.(Don't remind me.)

The best event was a troop of China acrobats sponsored by a few generous parents(You never know if they took it from our school fees) They were AWESOME! First, it was a group of boys and a girl. The youngest was 5 and the oldest about our age or younger. You should have seen the way they went round and jumped and rolled about on stage! Everyone just loved them. Next,it was 3 girls playing Chinese yo-yo.(扯鈴) It wasn't really nice. And we were all back to class but did not study for that day.

Do you know the Tinbalan Menteri Pendidikan came to watch this? He even said that we were the first school to have a 'Jalinan Kasih' for Chinese New Year. Some of the poor Chinese students got Angpou money and cookies in a bag. The reason for this event was to build a tapak perhimpunan with rooftop for my school so that even when it rains, we can have our assembly!(I hope we never get it) And I forgot to bring my camera!

After school, the same China acrobats were there but they had different performance. I watch a face changing for the first time in life!(变脸)

I went to Petaling Street and 1 Utama. I've got pictures! See first if I want to upload it! :p

I have finished watching Cruel Temptation in this holiday. The storyline keep expanding until 129 episodes. I sat in front of the tv whole day until my eyes ache. Quite sad at the ending. Still, the good ones live till the end and lead a happy life. Shen Aili and Qiaobin dead and at the end and they remorse for their wrongdoings.

Gosh...I still have a pile of homework waiting for me...

Finally, to all my friends, have a peace and tranquil holiday as after that we need to strive and fight when the school reopen....

Balik Kampong

The house is empty again after one and a half month. How are you guys doing??? I've been traveling on the first day of Lunar New Year. Finally arriving at Kota Bharu at 10:00pm. Got to see relatives again......miss em after a whole year...

Anyway, everyone have the fun while it last and i mean it, cause after this week, we're going on the bullet train to...I'm not quite sure... maybe to Paperwork Land??

Sport's Day

Hey Shu Yuan!!!!!

We had our Sport's Day yesterday. And there are many embarassing photos of us (well, refering more to MY silly photos actually). Thanks to the professional photographer in our family, that is my husband, Shi Yee. I'm going to get you back someday,Shi Yee, somehow. Hehe.... I'm sooooo "tanned" already. More like roasted. Blame the whole week of "kawat kaki" before the real Sport's Day. Note to myself. Never stand beside Roy Wang. If not, I looked exactly like a native Indian. Haha......... I hate him!!He never get dark after the marching at all. This year's "kawat kaki" champion goes to PBSM. They should actually as they had been hoping for years. And this year's sport's house champion is Panglima(the Green House), again. 3 years in a row already. Haha.....

Oh yeah, do me a favor, could you? Please don't LIKE the photos in the photo album. If not, other people could see it. Thanks.....^^
